Below is an email from Peter Apicella M.D., District 6650 Foundation Chair regarding the recent Paul Harris Fellow Challenge:

"Thank you for supporting our Rotary Foundation through our Paul Harris Fellow Challenge. I hope that during the Centennial Celebration, you were able to see the difference that our Foundation is making, "Doing Good in the World" and at home.

I am proud to announce that our District has raised $24,408 for the Rotary Foundation through the PHF Challenge which included $3,560 towards Polio Plus and $1,550 which was raised from our Centennial wine drawings.

We Rotarians are all winners when it comes to the Rotary Foundation, but the contest winners are as follows:

Paul Harris Fellow Award:
   Suzette Matthews – Canton Club

Centennial Wine Winners:
Sue Giambroni – E Liverpool Club
   Bill Trigg – Boardman Club
   Craig Young – Canton Club
   Shawn Dougherty - Canton Club
Canton South Club – general donation by the club

Next month, I will be sending your President-Elect information about upcoming Local District Grant monies (DDF) available to your clubs for the 2017-18 year. Start thinking of a local project that your donations to the Rotary Foundation can help support.

Check out our website to see what we are doing both locally and around the world at www.Rotary6650.org. You can visit Tim and Anna there.

Thank you.

If you are ever interested in making a personal donation to the Rotary Foundation or finding out more about the Paul Harris Fellow Society, becoming a Major Donor, Benefactor, or want to include the Foundation in your estate planning, please contact me or your club Foundation Chair."
