CHARITABLE FUND DRIVE
By now, you should have received the annual Rotary Club of Canton Charitable Fund Drive letter. I shared with you my story of what Rotary means to me and areas that I am most passionate about. Our goal this year for the Charitable Fund is $20,000. The Canton Rotary Charitable Fund supports our own Rotary Club's philanthropic efforts. The Rotary Club does not keep these funds. The funds are used to assist many local organizations and individuals in our community as well as help fund our local Canton Rotary projects. The more we raise, the more Rotary can be effective in our community.

My goal for 2017-2018 Rotary year is to make it impossible for people to not recognize all the wonderful things Rotary does. In turn, they will want to be part of what we are doing and join Rotary. Canton Rotary has been adding several new projects in addition to helping the ones we've always supported. I am asking each and every Rotarian to give to the Charitable Fund this year, whatever amount you are capable of donating. For some, that may be $20 or others thousands. I know I can count on you to prove to our community and the world that Canton Rotary is "The finest Rotary Club in the the world".
