OUR ROTARY MEETINGS WILL NOW BE HELD IN THE CALYPSO ROOM
Our weekly meetings will now be held at Meyer's Lake Ballroom CALYPSO ROOM.  This is the middle room at the banquet facility.

We will still be receiving the same wonderful treatment we have always received from Meyer's Lake Ballroom and Mr. Mike's Catering staff, it is only the room site that will change.  Thank you for your consideration in this matter.

"THANK YOU" LETTER RECEIVED FROM ROTARIAN/SPEAKER JIM MOLNAR
In a letter dated June 27, 2016, Canton Rotarian and past speaker James Molnar sent the following "Thank You".  Jim writes:

"President Paul:  Though I recently joined the Rotary, I want to specifically thank you for the opportunity to speak about the Stark and Carroll County CASA/Guardian ad Litem Program on June 17.  I also want to thank Rebecca Marchino for this opportunity to speak and for her hospitality, as well as Paul Feaser for his sponsorship.

It was important for me to share how close I feel the CASA and Rotary efforts are to each other, and how "we get well together."  It was one of the many reasons I chose to join the Rotary, and specifically the Canton Rotary.

I look forward to many years of living up to being a Rotarian, everything it stands for, and helping those helped by the Rotary of Canton."

NEW GOLF COURSE - SAME GREAT DAY OF CAMARADERIE AND FRIENDSHIP
On Friday, August 19, 2016, the Rotary Club of Canton will host its annual golf outing at The Sanctuary Golf Club located at 2017 Applegrove Street N.W., North Canton.  Each year the outing brings more than 75 golfers together from many local Rotary Clubs to participate in a friendly competition, leaving only one Rotary Club with bragging rights for the next year.  This is a great day to bring guests or prospective members to see what Rotary is all about and meet some of the great people that are involved with Rotary.

As in the past, the golf outing will take the place of our regularly-scheduled Friday meeting.  This means all Canton Rotarians are welcome to come for lunch, even if they are not planning to golf. The cost for your lunch would be $13.00. We will be enjoying Old Carolina Barbecue at noon.

After lunch, those golfing will join their foursomes and participate in a scramble-format golf tournament.  Prizes will be awarded to the top finishers in the scramble and for the longest drive, closest to the hole, and longest putt.

There will also be a putting contest, with the winner taking a BMW home for the weekend, courtesy of Cain BMW.

Please follow this LINK for a printable copy of the golf outing sign-up flyer.
