The annual Canton Rotary Charitable Fund (CRCF) drive is underway and donations are continuing to come in. However, time is now running out to take advantage of a charitable deduction for 2018. In order to qualify, your donation must be received on or before December 31st!Most of my communications about the CRCF have focused on the wonderful service programs the club is able to undertake because of the generosity of Rotarians. So, I won’t repeat myself at this point in the campaign. But please know that it is these types of community outreach efforts that reinforce our mission of “Service Above Self”.
For those of you who have not yet contributed, now is the time for all of us to give to this important part of our club. We have several ways to give, including: cash or check; credit card; the donation of appreciated securities; or qualified retirement distributions. If you have any questions about the CRCG or some of the tax-advantaged ways to contribute, please give me a call.
