Dear members of the Canton Rotary Club,

By now I am sure you have all heard that The Canton Rotary Club Golf Scramble has been cancelled for this year. After much discussion and thought and feedback from the Manager of The Sanctuary Golf Course, the officers of our club elected to cancel the golf scramble as we know it. Logistically handling a large crowd with a shotgun start, which is currently not permitted, would be very difficult to manage.

After further discussion, the golf committee has decided to have a day of fellowship for Rotarians and friends on our date of June 26th. This will be a scaled down event of 9 or 10 foursomes with scheduled tee times and a light lunch. We would be following all of the current restrictions that the golf courses are following. Over the last two months we have had so little opportunity to gather together as Rotarians and reconnect and celebrate our friendships and what we do as Rotarians. We also want to send a letter of thanks and appreciation to all the sponsors and supporters of our current and past golf outings. This is a perfect time to give thanks to all those who have supported our work for our community and the City of Canton.

So start putting your foursome together for June 26th, a day of fun and fellowship. We will be putting out more information on how to sign up and all of the other details for that day. Looking forward to seeing you on the 26th of June.
