ANOTHER GREAT WEDNESDAY EVENING MEETING LAST WEEK!
We had another excellent Wednesday evening meeting last week on March 8th at the 330 Bar & Grill at the recently renovated Doubletree Downtown.

After taking some time to relax and converse with our fellow Rotarians, we adjourned to a private room, where our guest speaker, Dr. Michael Grossman, updated us all on the Ukrainian War. There was a great opportunity for 0ne-on-one discussion with Dr. Grossman concerning this. Some appetizers were shared by all.

We encourage you all to attend our Wednesday evening meetings on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month from 5 to 6 PM.

Guests, family, friends and interested parties are encouraged to attend.

These meetings are currently scheduled to take place at the Conestoga Grill on 2nd Street in the Bliss/Onesto building.
DAN FULINE MENTIONED IN REPOSITORY ARTICLE!
(Coach Mike left, Coach Dan right)

Some of you may know that Past President Dan Fuline's son, Mike, is the now long-tenured Head Men's Basketball Coach at the University of Mount Union. Mike's now in his 12th season at Mount, having previously taken the Jackson High boy's basketball team to the State Championship in 2010.

Mike's Purple Raiders are now going to the NCAA Division III Final Four. They play the Wisconsin-Whitewater team Thursday at 8 PM.

What you might not know is that Dan Fuline is one of his son's assistant coaches!

When you see COACH Dan again, be sure to give him a high five!

JUNE 16TH & 17TH, DISTRICT 6650 CONFERENCE! MARK YOUR CALENDAR!

As the PROUD home club of our outstanding District Governor, Michelle Charles, we will be hosting this year's District 6650 Annual Conference.

Dates are Friday June 16th & Saturday June 17th.

Plans are being made now, so not all deets are known yet, but a STELLAR committee is starting to burn their creative brain cells to make this a GREAT conference, with an emphasis on fellowship, fun, and honoring the accomplishments of the clubs and Rotarians in our district!

Tentative plan is to have a social & fun event on Friday evening, we hope downtown, maybe at Centennial Plaza.
(It'll look warmer in June!)

Saturday's conference will be at the Embassy Suites, 7883 Freedom Ave. NW, North Canton, OH 44720 (no downtown Canton venues were available).

So please make plans to join us for this conference and help honor District Governor Michelle!

(PS - We will need volunteers to help with running the conference - set-up, registration, check-in, hospitality, cat-herding, tear-down, etc. Please consider helping!)

THIS WEEK'S LEXOPHILE JOKES!
This week's lexophile jokes:

He had a photographic memory but it was never fully developed.

When she saw her first strands of gray hair, she thought she’d dye.

Acupuncture is a jab well done. That’s the point of it.

I didn’t like my beard at first. Then it grew on me.

Did you hear about the crossed-eyed teacher who lost her job because she couldn’t control her pupils?
