Every winning athletic team has a feeder system to help with age-level skill building and practice for success.  Throughout our communities there are little, midget, elementary, middle, travel and high school leagues of all kinds to help prepare students to excel in sports. We know what a professional athlete looks like and the determination and opportunities afforded to them to reach the top.  A well prepared workforce needs to be developed in the exact same fashion.  Junior Achievement is the Rookie League for Workforce Development.  This school year, with the support of 1,000 business volunteers Junior Achievement will engage 16,000 students with core-aligned JA Programs, students will learn basics in financial management, employer expectations and their role to be prepare to compete in a global marketplace.  Join us to empower students to reach their full potential and improve our local economic development with a better trained and employable workforce.
