Dr. Jennifer Jellison, a native of Canton, Ohio, grew up on 38th street and attended Glenoak High School. Following graduation in 1976, Dr. J earned her Bachelor of Science degree in animal science from The Ohio State University. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State College of Veterinary medicine in 1985. In 2002, she earned her Penn Hip Certification and in 2006 Chief of Staff Certification.
 
On May 1, 2011 Dr. Jellison purchased the Blue Cross Animal Hospital from retiring Dr. William Leed and renamed the hospital “For Paws Blue Cross Animal Hospital”. Jennifer has made numerous public service announcements regarding child abuse as well as animal abuse. A frequent guest on Live with Kelly, Regis and Kelly, Good Morning America, NBC, ABC and Fox news broadcasts along with local and national radio shows as an animal advocate. In addition she has been featured in an episode of Jack Hanna’s Animal Adventures about her work as a volunteer for Canine Companions for Independence. Jennifer loves to run, ride horses, and spend time with her three children, William, Maggie and Andrew. She lives in Canton with her husband, 4 Dogs and 5 Cats.
