"THANK YOU" LETTER RECEIVED FROM THE PHILOMATHEON SOCIETY OF THE BLIND, INC.

On March 23, 2015, the Rotary office received a letter from David Miller, President of the Philomatheon Society of the Blind. David wrote:

 

"On behalf of the membership of the Philomatheon Society of the Blind, I would like to thank the Canton Rotary for the donation of tickets to the Rotary's Annual Pancake Breakfast fund raiser on March 14, 2015.  The Philomatheon Society looks forward to this event every year and the members that attend enjoy the event and all of the accompanying activities.  The relationship between our organizations is very important to the Society.  The kindness and generosity shown to the Society picks us up, especially during the winter months.  Mr. Barkan has been a great friend and inspiration to the membership.  He does invaluable service for the Society and we cannot thank him enough.

 

If the Society can be of any help to the Rotary, please do not hesitate to ask.  Once again, thank you for the Breakfast tickets."
