"THANK YOU" LETTER RECEIVED FROM THE PHILOMATHEON SOCIETY OF THE BLIND, INC

The Rotary office received a "Thank You" letter dated July 3, 2014, from David Miller, President of the Philomatheon Society of the Blind.  

David writes:  "Dear Rotary members, I would like to express my gratitude to all of the Rotary members and their families and other volunteers for the good work that was done on behalf of the Philomatheon Society of the Blind at the Society's picnic, June 28, 2014.  It means a lot to the members, as well as myself personally.  In these times, it is difficult to find a group such as the Rotary who will go out of their way to help others.

Words can only begin to express the gratitude that is felt towards the Rotary and the membership.  The Philomatheon Society and the Rotary have been connected for many years now and that has been very fruitful for the Society.  I can only hope that the Rotary feels the same.

I would, especially, like to thank Steve Fettman, Jack Barkan and Frank Fleischer.  Life would be somewhat more difficult for the Society without them around.  That aside, all the Rotary members have the Philomatheon Society's undying thanks and if the Society can help the Rotary out in anyway, please do not hesitate to ask."
