At our weekly meeting on March 27, 2015, President Tom Clevenger asked the members to keep Canton Rotarian Elbert Magoon in their prayers.  Elbert had a proceedure done and is home resting.  
 
District Governor Phil Mariola presented to President Tom a "100 Year" certificate for the club's 100 year anniversary.  Many Past Presidents were in attendance for this historic presentation.
 
President Elect Paul White then took to the podium to bring the members up to date on the "100 Year Celebration" event taking place on April 11th.  (Please see story).
 
Youth Exchange Chairwoman Amy Mustafaga introduced our Youth Exchange Student, Gui (Luiz Guilherme Morgado).  She asked for Rotarians to step forward and help this young man complete his "bucket list" or accomplish his tasks before his return home in June.
 
PP Rick Taylor then informed the members that Junior Achievement was doing another session of "Done In A Day".  The date for this event will be Friday, April 17th from 9:00 am to 11:30 am.  (Please see story for further information).
 
President Tom reminded the members the next Rotary meeting will be held on THURSDAY, APRIL 2nd!!
 
Club Secretary Amanda Tietze welcomed the following guests to our meeting: DG Phil Mariola, Bob Shaffner (Assistant District Governor), Luiz Gilherme Morgado, Mike Boyd (Jackson Rotary), Mark Clendenin (Jackson Rotary) and Kim Kroh.
 
The "Happy Bucks" news was then provided by the following Rotarians: Tim Franta stated 35 years ago today he was in the hospital when his son was "produced" and now he was waiting on his grandchild to be born on the same date; Michelle Mullaly was thrilled to announce her son committed to the University of Mount Union.  She also informed the members the about the upcoming two Canton Symphony events this weekend. She has free tickets available just give her a call if you are interested; finally Mike Gregorek announced that one of our very special "Mr. Mike's" server, Helen, was celebrating her 74th Birthday.  The members then proceeded to serenade Helen with a rendition of "Happy Birthday"!
