WEEKLY MEETING NEWS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS

At our weekly meeting on June 4, 2015, President Tom asked the members to keep Canton Rotarian and Past President Tom Vignos' family in their thoughts and prayers.  PP Tom passed away earlier in the week. President Tom then wished a very happy birthday to those members celebrating a birthday in June.  He also thanked Speaker Chair John DeWees on the wonderful programs he had provided in May.  President Tom reminded everyone about the upcoming photos to be taken on Friday, June 19th (please see story for more information and times).

 

Club Secretary Amanda Tietze welcomed the following guests to our meeting: Josephine Codispotti, Gloria Fettman, Michael Fettman, Ryllis Guist, Connie Little, Ann Jones, Donna Smith, Violet Niamtu and Michael Davy (Florida Rotarian).

 

The "Happy Bucks" news was then presented by the following Rotarians:  Dave Beule announced the opening on Wednesday; Nick Perini was very happy to have Rotarian Bill Luntz back to the meeting; Bill Luntz stated he was very happy to be back; Tom Clevenger asked guest, Michael Fettman to stand and show off his Cavs Jersey -- "GO CAVS"; and our speaker, Jeff Allen, donated $20 and announced that he and his wife were expecting twin girls.

 

The following members will receive a makeup for attending the additional Board meeting held on June 4, 2015:  President Tom Clevenger, President Elect Paul White, Vice President Craig Young, Treasurer Dave Schrade, Secretary Amanda Tietze, Parliamentarian Bob Pattison and incoming club Secretary Michelle Mullaly.  Trustees attending the meeting were: Dean Wallace, Jim Blake, Nick Perini, Bruce Schorsten, Paul Feaser, Tim Furbay, Sharon Sirpilla and Mike Paris.
